Food hygiene certificates can be obtained in a number of ways. You can attend a half day college course or complete an online course which costs £15 and can be completed in a couple of hours. Please note this cost is not recoverable from the company.

No, unfortunately due to operational commitments we are unable to offer interviews outside the given dates.

Not all successful candidates will be offered contracts which run for the duration of the summer season. Some contracts will only run for part of the season.

Unfortunately the company is unable to reimburse these costs for external applicants.

A number of factors will be considered when allocating successful candidates to vessels. These will include previous experience, availability, and operational requirements. Therefore, there is no guarantee that you will be offered the route closest to home. We ask that all applicants bear this in mind when they apply and be willing to travel.

Travel expenses will be provided. In each calendar year, the company will reimburse employees travelling to their designated vessel for eight return journeys. This will be pro rata based on your start and end date.

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate time off for pre-booked holidays.

An ENG1 is a medical certificate recognised by the MCA and essential for all seafarers. These can only be obtained from MCA approved doctors at a cost of approximately £85. You do not need to have an ENG1 to apply for the job, however, successful candidates will be required to obtain one at their own expense prior to a formal offer being made.
