Our community fund is back!

Our Community Fund aims to support non-profit organisations registered to the islands and coastal ports we serve.

About the fund

The fund is returning as part of our 175th anniversary celebrations.

The relaunched fund will provide grants ranging from £1,000 to £10,000 to non-profit organisations working to support vulnerable and disadvantaged people in island and coastal communities.

The fund reflects our long-standing commitment to the communities we serve and aims to help local organisations deliver projects that:

  1. Improve health, wellbeing and quality of life

  2. Tackle poverty and financial hardship

  3. Build stronger, more connected communities and reduce social isolation.

Applications open on Monday 5 October and close on Monday 16 November. The fund is administered by Foundation Scotland.
