Annual Plan

Each year we publish an Annual Plan to set out the key priorities that will help deliver our Corporate Plan 2025-2031 - our framework for delivering Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Services (CHFS3) on behalf of the Scottish Government.  

Our Annual Plans

Our Annual Plans show how we are making steady, measurable progress – improving reliability, enhancing accessibility, and investing in smarter, more integrated systems for customers and communities. They outline the practical steps we will take year by year to strengthen the service people rely on. 

The first Annual Plan for CHFS3, which covered the period Opens in new windowOctober 2025 – March 2026 to align with financial years, was published in early October. 

A draft plan has been developed, covering the period April 2026 - March 2027, and a final version will be published after the election period, following formation of the new government.

We will also make performance reports available so customers and stakeholders can see how we are progressing against these plans, and where improvements are being achieved. This is part of our commitment to openness and transparency, and it ensures that communities can hold us to account. 

Our Annual Plans are underpinned by a series of Delivery Plans, which detail what we’re doing at an operational level to provide services which meet the needs of customers.
